The arrival of t he Blackberry Storm 2 9520 has been highly anticipated and we are here to see if all the hype is really worth it. Apparently it is. The newest member of the Blackberry family seems to stand out in every aspect; performance, software, design and much more. This new Blackberry offers a sophisticated new shape, an on screen clickable keypad, awesome video playback and Wi-Fi are just a few of the advancements.
When you first lay on eyes on the new Storm 2 you will notice the curvaceous, luxurious design. However, it’s almost identical to the original model, so we have to look further for all the new alterations.
The new keyboard is not perfect, but it is an improvement over the original model. Typing on the Storm 2 is easier with the on screen and clickable typing features. However, pressing down on the touch screen can be uncomfortable and clumsy, the QWERTY keyboards the other models offer are much better.
One really great feature is the Sure-Type predictive text technology. Typing a long email couldn’t be easier. This feature actually predicts what you are going to type so one finger typing is a thing of the past. Blackberry has finally hopped on the Wi-Fi train. Yes…the Storm 2 offers Wi-Fi. Now Blackberry users will be able to connect to any open network. Something that it’s predecessor couldn’t do.
We really like that blackberry finally has Wi-Fi, we also like how the flip screen lets you browse and type in portrait or landscape mode. We like the large screen and the new Blackberry OS 5. Also setting up email accounts is much easier with the Set-up Wizard.
