The Samsung Galaxy Europa is a quality budget phone. Whether you buy this as a spare, as a replacement, or simply as your primary phone, it has enough going for it that you can enjoy the luxuries many smartphones provide without having to pay an arm and a leg.
The presence of 3G, wi-fi, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and it's awesome Social Hub are all qualities that are sure to impress even the most jaded users. Considering the plethora of budget phones out there that lack so much, it's refreshing to see a phone that doesn't cut the essentials in order to keep the price down.
The two megapixel camera is a bit on the basic side, but it's not terrible. It has fixed focus and little else, not even a flash. As it is, however, it takes decent pictures in brightly lit areas. It's nothing to replace your digital camera with, but it will do should you need to snap a picture of something in a hurry.
Its internet options are surprisingly well developed for a budget phone. Featuring 3G, wi-fi, Bluetooth, HDPSA, EDGE, and more. It has quadband technology as well, which means you can use the phone regardless of where you travel.
We also liked its innovative Social Hub, which synchs twitter updates, emails, Facebook, and more all into one easy place. We do wish it supported Flash, but considering its price this is a lack we can deal with. Its battery life is pretty decent, with roughly 380 minutes of talk time and 520 hours of standby.
Its 140MB might not initially sound very impressive, but you can boost it to 1GB with the aid of a microSD card. It's not exactly a memory storage behemoth, but it should provide you with plenty of room for storing songs, emails, texts, and more.
When you're saving money but wanting to buy a high feature phone like the Samsung Galaxy Europa, you might as well get and online deal. An alternative to the Samsung Galaxy Europa is of course the iPhone, compare to a cheap iPhone deals as they are found easily than mobilephone deals.
