The Nokia N9’s best feature would have to be the touchscreen. This 3.9 inch AMOLED touchscreen is sharp and clear and very responsive. To make things even better, the screen is covered with scratch resistant glass that really controls scratches and scrapes. The N9 also has a slightly curved polycarbonate shell.
The device has no designated home button, so pretty much all your activities are controlled by swiping motions on the screen. Most users will enjoy this high tech feature, however, if you are new to touchscreen technology, it might take some getting used to.
The Nokia N9 offers a great 8 mega pixel camera with a Carl Zeiss lens. With auto-focus all you photos should be sharp and clear and you have the ability to record video in high definition. Although, with the release of 3D phones, this technology may be out-dated soon.
The Nokia N9 runs on the MeeGo operating system. This is a Linux operating system so now we have another contender in the Apple, Windows and Android war. The Linux operating system seems pretty decent and easy enough to use. When it comes to playing your games and viewing your videos, the 1GHz processor and extra graphic chip will allow you to do that quite easily.
Unfortunately, you don’t have much to choose from in the way of apps, but hopefully this will change in the future. You should definitely have all the room that you will need for storing all your music and videos since the Nokia N9 is touted to be released in two sizes, 16GB and 64GB. There is also a SIM card like the popular iPhone 4.
The Nokia N9 is a promising phone with good features that could compete with today's latest. Motorola hasn't lost the mobilephone market yet and they also have lots of best iPhone deals that might change your mind when buying the phone you have in mind.
