Blackberry 9700 Bold Mobile Phone Review - A Quality Business Phone With Notable Improvements

The Blackberry Bold 9700 is something that will have Blackberry fans dancing in their seats. This is a mobile that is proof that designers are truly listening to the needs of their customer base. With its quality exterior and wealth of features and apps, it goes without saying that it performs well. However, is it a Blackberry handset that manages to distinguish itself from its Blackberry relatives?

The Blackberry Bold 9700 is available in simple black, with its signature finger friendly full QWERTY keyboard. A noted improvement over the original Bold includes the absence of its usual trackball. Instead, they've replaced it with a tidy trackpad, which is not only nicely responsive and easy to use, but it also keeps the phone looking tidier. One of the downsides of a trackball, after all, is that it tends to attract lint and dust no matter how you clean it.

While its 2.4 inch screen could be bigger, it's hardly so small that it's difficult to read. Crisp, bright, and clear, it is nevertheless great for browsing and answering emails on. While slightly smaller than the original Bold, it nevertheless fits nicely in the palm, as well as in both hands for quick texting and typing.

The phone isn't completely flawless, however. Blackberry phones the world over are rapidly becoming rather indistinguishable from one another. Designers are having a tough time making the newer ones really pop. Many users agree that the Blackberry Bold 9700 is a perfectly nice phone, but it lacks the modern novelty of shinier phones, such as the iphone.

Blackberry 9700 Bold gets better in every release; newer phones are expensive while a last month's release becomes cheaper. There are various ways to save money and you can get a free laptop if ever you want to buy one.
