HTC Desire Mobile Phone Review

The HTC Desire is one of the most aptly named phones to date. There is very little about this phone that won't absolutely dazzle you. When it comes to great phones such as this, many automatically tend to turn their thoughts toward whether or not it will be able to hold on its own against the mighty iphone. While the tired phrase "iphone killer" has been used in a variety of reviews, this is a phone that is actually worthy of the title.

One of the first things you'll notice about the HTC Desire is its large and lovely 3.7 inch touchscreen. Its high resolution makes doing everything from watching videos to browsing the web an absolute dream. Alas, it tends to be a bit over reflective when you use it outside, which can be a pain. That aside, its Android Sense interface makes using the screen a straightforward and seamless experience--there is something polished and wonderful about it that makes you feel as though you're truly living in the future.

When it comes to features, the HTC Desire is positively packed with them. These include a 5 megapixel camera, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, wi-fi, Bluetooth, GPS, quadband technology, and much more. We would have liked to see a camera flash, as the LED light doesn't quite cut it when it comes to taking pictures in darker settings. However, features such as auto focus and face detection make up for this somewhat.

Other smaller complaints is its tendency to slow down a little if you have a lot of features open at once. However, this is true of almost any device of this kind, and it's hardly such a dominant flaw that it will significantly slow you down. Just be sure that if you're new to mobiles in general, there might be something of a learning curve.

The HTC Desire is a promising phone with good features that could compete with today's latest. HTC hasn't lost the mobilephone market yet and they also have lots of free mobile phone contract offer that might change your mind when buying the phone you have in mind.
