HTC Wildfire Mobile Phone Review - A Quality Smartphone With an Affordable Price
When it comes to budget phones, there are few that come close to the HTC Wildfire in terms of quality and style. A common problem with finding affordable mobiles is that they often sacrifice crucial features for the sake of staying cheap. However, the Wildfire provides you with a wealth of coveted features. While it's not flawless, it comes very close indeed.
Penny pinchers will enjoy the Wildfire's sleek appearance. Available in metallic hues of black, white, or red, it's small enough to fit comfortably in the palm and weighty enough to feel solid without feeling bulky. Its 3.2 inch touchscreen is bright and lovely and incredibly responsive, though a bit on the blurry side. Its size and shape make it simple to slip the phone into a pocket or purse.
Its interface and operating system is also great. Combine HTC Sense with Android 2.1 and you have a phone that can't be beat. While some may find the 2.1 version a bit dated, it's hardly obsolete, and the Sense allows you to zoom in by pinching and perform other fun maneuvers. All in all, the navigation experience is quite good, though not without the occasional pause or hiccup.
There's more to it than just it's good looks, however. It comes with a wealth of amazing features, including a 3.5 mm headphone jack, an FM radio, and a music player that supports a wide selection of different formats. Not only is the sound quality excellent, but the presence of the 3.5 mm headphone jack means that you can use whatever type of headphones you like, rather than just the ones that come with the phone.
Its 5 megapixel camera is also quite amazing, with a LED photo light, great shutter speed, and autofocus, though we do wish that it came with an actual flash. This means that the light is strong enough to illuminate some areas, but forget trying to take pictures in the dark.
When you're saving money but wanting to buy a high feature phone like the HTC Wildfire, you might as well get and online deal. An alternative to the HTC Wildfire is of course the laptop, compare free laptop contracts as they are found easily than mobilephone deals.
