Nokia X6 Mobile Phone Review

The Nokia X6 is a well made little music phone. However, unlike many feature phones, it doesn't sacrifice its other features in the name of boosting its music related goodies. While it's not perfect, it's nevertheless a reliable, thoughtfully designed device that is sure to please.

Available in white, blue or red, the phone has mediocre looks. While there isn't much that's downright unattractive about the phone, there's also something dull in its candy bar shape and simple, sharp corners. It doesn't help that it's not the most slender phone either.

While its not bulky enough to impede storage, it isn't a phone that will fit easily into your back pocket. Its 3.2 inch touchscreen is wonderfully responsive as well. Big, bright, and beautiful, it's great for watching movies on or browsing the web.

That aside, its Symbian S60 operating system is a bit dull and dated, but for those who dislike the overly complex nature of most smartphones, this might not be a bad thing. Alas, it's somewhat convoluted at times and is prone to inexplicable slowness. However, you do get a wealth of homescreens to sort your apps and widgets on.

Its music related features are quite good, including a 3.5 mm headphone jack, an FM radio, access to free music via its Comes With Music program. There aren't many phones out there that will offer you a year's worth of free downloads! Considering its memory storage, you'll have plenty of room for just that.

Nokia X6 gets better in every release newer phones are expensive while a last month's release becomes cheaper. There are various ways to save money and you can get affordable mobile phone deals if ever you want to buy one.
