Acer Iconia Smart Mobile Phone Review – An Enormous Smartphone With Tons of Features

The Acer isn't the prettiest phone on the market, though it's not hideous either. We found it was built quite sturdily, and its startlingly large 4.8 inch capacitive touch screen is unlike anything we've ever seen. Big and bright and beautiful, this is a perfect phone for watching movies on.

That it has a 2:19 aspect ratio doesn't hurt either—this results in footage that is crisp, smooth, and gorgeous. You also have the option of hooking it up to your television with its HDMI or DLNA. That aside, its camera also reflects its bigger is better ideal. It actually sports two cameras. One is located on the back of the phone.

Equipped with 8 megapixels, autofocus, a LED flash, geo tagging, face detection, and much more, it comes marvelously close to producing digital camera quality photos, all of which you can upload directly online. Its second two megapixel camera is located on the front of the phone, which makes it great for holding video conferences.

Of course, the Acer Iconia isn't without its downsides, and these tend to stick out just as blatantly as its positive features. Its battery life, for example, is downright deplorable—you'll have to charge it at least once a day. However, its memory storage is also quite vast, providing you plenty of space for mp3s and videos.

For the most part, the Acer Iconia is definitely worth considering. Its an eye-catcher simply for its largeness. Its poor battery life aside, we have very little to complain about. We think that its hefty price will be more than worth it for many users. Definitely check it out today!
