Alcatel OT-209 Mobile Phone Review

The Alcatel OT-209 isn't the best budget phone on the market today, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have redeeming features. When it comes to this phone, you'll find that whether or not it appeals to you depends largely on what you're looking for in a phone.

While this phone may lack in some areas, it is well equipped in many others and contains some unique features you won't find in other phones. Available in red or grey, its appearance is a bit strange looking. There is a gradient going down the keypad that can either look interesting or hideous depending on your personal tastes.

We do like its wonderfully finger friendly buttons, however, even if the rest of the plastic used in the phone's casing is sort of cheap and flimsy feeling. Even though it's only 68g, it's not so fragile that you feel anxious just holding it. We didn't like its 1.5 inch 65K colour screen, however, which is incredibly small and difficult to read.

However, this isn't a phone you'll be watching many movies on anyway, so this might not be so much of a downside for many users who just want a quick, cheap phone. We did like its torch on the back, which is perfect for helping you find your car keys or toddle drunkenly down a stairwell after a long night out.

When you're saving money but wanting to buy a high feature phone like the Alcatel OT-209, you might as well get and online deal. An alternative to the Alcatel OT-209 is of course the iPhone, compare cheap iPhone deals as they are found easily than mobilephone deals.
