Blackberry Pearl 3G Mobile Phone Review

The Blackberry Pearl 3G is a unique device among Blackberry phones. One of its most obvious differences is its lack of a full QWERTY keyboard. If you're someone who hates the crowded keys of most models, this may be a refreshing change. Traditionalists, however, may rankle at the idea of lifting such an iconic feature.

Is the Pearl 3G for you? Read on to learn more. As we mentioned before, the appearance of the Pearl 3G is drastically altered by the absence of its QWERTY keyboard. Instead, it has a simple alphanumeric wave shaped keypad. The buttons are a bit flat, though. Those with larger fingers might have trouble tapping things out.

At 93g, it is light and compact and easily fits in a pocket. Our only real disappointment was its tiny 2.24 inch screen. It's bright and vivid, but it can be difficult to read. Its user interface, while relatively easy to figure out, has a distinctly unpolished feel. There is nothing convoluted or irritating about its array of menus and commands, but it lacks the smooth, flawless feel of more modern interfaces.

This isn't necessarily a bad thing; its simplicity means that more users can operate it without trouble. Its sound quality is quite good, though its sound related features are basic.

BlackBerry Pearl 3G Review

Met with some apprehension, the Pearl has concerned lovers of Blackberry phones as they are known for their QWERTY keyboard, of which there is none. It has posed many questions into why the company has strayed away from it’s original facade, however, it is considered to be more advantageous for texting.

Disappointingly, the Pearl also doesn’t have touch screen features, nor does it have much to offer in the way of apps, features and widgets, at least in comparison to other smartphones. The 3.2 megapixel camera is of too poor quality to compete with other camera phones, even though it’s got a flash, autofocus and 2.5 digital zoom, as we as being capable of video.

It does have a decent media player for you to download and watch videos right on your phone. The 2.2-inch LCD display has 400 x 360 pixels. You get the usual SMS and MMS capacities, and the e-mail client is quite good, allowing you to include attachments. A handy addition for car drivers is the speaker phone that allows you to talk without having to hold the phone.

You also have GPS for navigating those long business car journeys. Organisation is great as you can keep your files in its own organizer functionality and you can protect your phone with a password to keep everything confidential and safe.

The BlackBerry Pearl 3G is a good phone to have considering its features and usability. Consider to get mobile phone deals along with the BlackBerry Pearl 3G as these deals give good discounts and affordable monthly pay.

Blackberry Pearl 3G Mobile Phone Review

One of the first things you'll notice about the Blackberry Pearl 3G is that it distinctly lacks the signature keyboard of most Blackberry phones. If you've ever looked at a Blackberry and wished it had a simpler keyboard without all of those crowded keys, this may very well be your answer. Here are a few other things to consider as you look for the perfect business phone.

There is more to the Pearl 3G than just its lack of a QWERTY. We liked it's appearance quite a bit. Available in simple black and weighing a slim 93g, it's the perfect mobile version of a little black dress that's perfect for all occasions. Its wavy alphanumeric keypad is something you'll either love or hate. Its
2.2 inch display is tiny, but vivid. Its trackpad is also nicely responsive and doesn't attract lint and grime the way a trackball does. Overall, a decided advantage is that it's very pocket friendly as well. There is more to it than its glamorous good looks, however. We would be remiss in not mentioning its amazing email capabilities.

As with any Blackberry, its email client is absolutely resplendent, with push email, sophisticated contact lists, social network integration, and more. Combine this with its 3G HSPDA, wi-fi, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, USB, and other connectivity options and you have a reliable little phone that is perfect for long business trips.

The perfect blend of work and play, it allows you to take advantage of its document viewer, stellar email, and reliable connectivity for connecting with clients and employees, and then once your work is done you can browse the web or watch a movie.

Blackberry Pearl 3G gets better in every release, some may become costly but more and more mobile phones are getting cheaper. There are various ways to save money and you can get a free tv mobile phone offer if ever you want to buy one.
