The media player gives great clarity when watching movies and videos and it is capable of supporting a wide variety of music and video file-types. Due to this when you use the Jet you feel as though you are pushing the screen incredibly hard when swiping and clicking, which isn’t what you want in a quick phone as it does nothing more than slow you down. The battery life is quite poor and we found that we had to recharge the phone on an incredibly regular basis, although this is a common complaint in smartphone releases.

Without Android the app selection is pretty poor and we long for the games the Android Marketplace offers. To conclude we found that the Samsung Jet is a great phone for it’s price and boasts some great features, especially the camera, which is a real joy to use. The internal and external memory ensures you have plenty of space to enjoy the media player and the phone has an overall stylish appearance.

Unfortunately the touchscreen is the major drawback of the Jet and we can’t help but feel that the phone would be far superior if it came with a capacitive touchscreen. Overall it’s a great phone but there are plenty of others that offer you a better Android experience.
