The HTC 7 Mozart has a little bit of everything for everyone. Including the Windows 7 operating system, an incredible screen, Zune compatibility, a robust camera, and more, it's definitely a phone with potential. Its appealingly low price tag will also help in attracting a few second looks. Is it equipped with enough to compete with other smartphones out there, however? At 130g, it's apparent right away that the Mozart isn't your typical flimsy pocket phone. It's small enough to fit nicely in the palm, however, and its slender size makes it pocket friendly as well.
We also liked its exterior design, which consists of overlaying black plastic in slightly varying hues, resulting in smooth, organic lines that suit its rounded curves very well indeed. Its 3.7 inch S-LCD capacitive touchscreen is another eye catcher—while not as bright or as vibrant as other high end phones, it is nevertheless a joy to use and great for watching movies, browsing the web, or playing games on.
Of course, the Mozart isn't perfect. In spite of its name, its sound quality could use some improvement, as it's a bit dim. We also wish its memory were a bit larger—at only 8GB, you have a limited amount, and you can't add any onto it.
