Samsung Champ Mobile Phone Review - A Budget Phone of Surprising Quality and Style

What does the Champ provide aside from its looks? Equipped with a variety of social networking goodies, you or your kids will be able to keep in touch via Facebook, Twitter, and more. You also get various Google related goodies such as gmail and Youtube, an FM radio, a decent media player, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and more. Alas, its 1.3 megapixel camera is an example of a small feature that falls short of its goal; if you want to take silly snapshots without worrying about quality, you'll get passable shots if you stick to well lit areas, but its lack of a flash or autofocus means pictures in gloomier settings will turn out grainy and blurred.

Alas, its social networking goodies don't amount to much when the phone doesn't have wi-fi or 3G connectivity. However, it is equipped with Bluetooth 2.1, USB, predictive text, SMS, MMS, instant messaging, a decent email client, and a usable WAP 2.0 browser. Alas, your connectiity options are incredibly limited in this case, which may be a deal breaker for some users.

A decided advantage to its smallness is that its battery life is quite good, at 12 hours of talk time and 666 hours of standby. This will allow for several days of decent use without charging. Its memory isn't enormous, but with 30MB internal memory and 8GB of external memory, you should have enough for your music, photos, and more.

All in all, the Samsung Champ makes a decent attempt at providing you with a phone that won't break your budget. While it's incredibly limited in some regards, it does a good job nevertheless at providing you with a broad range of features. This is a great phone for keeping tabs on the kids or simply providing them with a way to touch base. Definitely worth checking out.

And if you like browsing, if you search the Internet for deals, you can find mobile phone offers with free tv along with cashback deals. These deals are great if you're on tight budget as they offer you affordable monthly pay depending on your preferences of course.
