Mobile Phone Review: HTC Incredible S

For the most part we are quite distrustful of phones with self describing names. Lucky for HTC, their "Incredible S" is well designed and well equipped, living up to its title. With a decent-sized touchscreen, features often overlooked such as a rubber back for easy grip and Android well and truly on board, the HTC Incredible S is definitely worth considering.

The appearance of the HTC Incredible S is one of elegance - sleek, slender and with smooth lines running through it. The four inch capacitive touchscreen is bright and vivid and dominates the anterior of the phone, whilst the posterior is comprised of a handy rubberised back. The phone is slender and small enough to fit in your pocket, though at 136g, it is in no way flimsy or fragile.

In fact, it's really quite strong and solid, possibly more than most phones due to its rubberised coating. The operating system running the show is Android 2.2 Froyo, which, although not the most recent operating system, it has enough features packed in to satisfy and can effectively run most apps and widgets.

Combined with the HTC Sense, you are treated to a great, user-friendly phone that includes a variety of practical and aesthetically pleasing little features capable of making you forget the operating system's datedness altogether.

HTC Incredible S gets better in every release, newer phones are expensive while a last month's release becomes cheaper. There are various ways to save money and you can get a mobile phone contracts if ever you want to buy one.
