Nokia X3 Mobile Phone Review - A Budget Phone With Music Related Features

Its operating system is quite dated. While its Series 40 software may not be the most recent version on the market, it's still workable and allows easy access to the Ovi store. We didn't notice any incidents of freezing or glitching either, which is a definite plus.

It's not the fastest phone ever, however. Toted as a music phone, the Nokia X6 provides a wealth of tunes related goodies, including a 3.5 mm headphone jack, an FM radio, dedicated music buttons, and a surprisingly stellar set of original headphones that offer bass and equaliser options.

However, they can't replace your favourite headphones, which is why we also like that it gives you the option of using its universal headphone jack to its fullest. Strangely enough, this is a music phone with a surprisingly poor sound quality, for both calling and for listening.

Overall, the call quality is disappointingly dim, and its music listening quality isn't much better. We also enjoy that it's a phone that lasts. With so few battery sucking features, we found it lasted several days between charges.

We were also impressed that it comes with up to 16GB of external memory. Alas, when it comes to staying connected, this is a phone that doesn't offer a lot. Those who insist on having wi-fi or 3G will find themselves horribly disappointed.

For a budget phone, the Nokia X6 could do worse in terms of quality. Its sleek looks, solidly built exterior, and nifty music features makes for a relatively capable phone, especially when you consider its battery life. However, its dated operating system, shoddy camera, and tiny screen may make it a disappointment for some.

When you're saving money but wanting to buy a high feature phone like the Nokia X3, you might as well get and online deal. An alternative to the Nokia X3 is of course the iPhone, you can buy the best iPhone deals as they are found easily than mobilephone deals.
