Nokia X6 Mobile Phone Review

The X6 is an evolved version of the old XpressMusic phones and is Nokia’s first upmarket Xseries phone, and we find it to be a fun, robust and easy to use phone. But can it live up to its predecessor’s name? The X6 is a touchscreen smartphone with a Symbian operating system, which means for those of you unfamiliar with mobile technology, that it is extremely fast, unbelievably powerful and incredibly responsive.

It looks pretty beautiful and the X6 feels sturdy and comfortable in the hand. The 3.2inch touchscreen is amazingly responsive and has a beautiful resolution, as well as an auto rotating display. To be honest the screen is a little on the small size for a phone in this price range, but it is on the smaller size in terms of smartphone technology.

What’s really cool about the X6 is that it gives you a choice of keypad style; so if you hold it up straight you get an alphanumeric pad, but tilt it sideways and you get a full QWERTY keyboard, so it’s pretty versatile for texting and e-mailing.

The interface of the X6 is fun and easy to use, as well as being simple to customise, allowing you quick access to your contacts, social networks and music. Speaking of music, it is the music player on the X6 that really sells the phone. It is the Nseries player, and allows you straightforward access to all the artists, albums, genres and playlists that you have on your phone.

Nokia X6 gets better in every release, newer phones are expensive while a last month's release becomes cheaper. There are various ways to save money and you can get a mobile phone contracts if ever you want to buy one.
