Sony Ericsson Xperia Play Mobile Phone Review

Gaming enthusiasts the world over will love the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play. It manages to meet all of the requirements of a quality gaming phone: it's easy to hold, its buttons are finger friendly, and it comes equipped with Google Android and a wealth of other fun goodies. Is it ideal for everyone, however?

When it comes to looks, it's easy to see where the Xperia Play gets its appearance. Those who enjoy Playstation will find its controls very familiar. They feature two trackpads as well as a set of directional buttons and the quadrant of Playstation action keys.

The hinge this mechanism slides out on is smooth and sturdy—you'll have no trouble flipping these controls out in a hurry. Our only real drawback regarding its looks is that this sliding mechanism makes the phone a bit clunky, though not so much that it can't fit in a pocket. It's also large enough to hold comfortably with both hands.

Its four inch screen isn't the highest resolution we've ever seen, but it's nevertheless sharp and crisp and excellent for viewing those awesome cinematic scenes. Users will be happy to note that this phone is equipped with Android Gingerbread 2.3.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play gets better in every release, some may become costly but more and more mobile phones are getting cheaper. There are various ways to save money and you can get a phone deals with free gifts if ever you want to buy one.
