Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Mobile Phone Review

If you're someone who likes your phones small, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini may be what you're looking for. While its name is a mouthful, it has a wealth of features that many users are sure to enjoy. Here are a few other things to consider about this amazing little phone.

Whether you wear a token pair of skinny jeans or you have a favorite tiny purse, the designers at Sony Ericsson have recognized the importance of having a phone that's slim and slender. We particularly liked its snap on covers that come in a variety of colours. At 88g, it is lightweight and tiny without seeming terribly fragile. Its 2.5 inch screen may be a bit on the small side, but it's nicely bright and vivid.

Alas, its Android interface is somewhat dated. The 1.6 version isn't so ancient as to be obsolete, but those looking for the latest in cell phone developments may find themselves wincing at its age. However, Sony Ericsson has thoughtfully adjusted the interface so that it matches its smaller screen. Considering that many such phones suffer from crowded screen syndrome when it comes to their screens, this is a particularly wise move.

Its memory is relatively decent, with 128MB of internal memory, plus a microSD stick that gives you up to 16GB. Alas, our only big complaint would have to be its battery life. With only 240 minutes of talk time and 285 hours of standby, you'll need to charge fairly often.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini is a good phone to have considering its features and usability. Consider to get a phone contracts with free gifts along with the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini as these deals give good discounts and affordable monthly pay.

There are lots of other things about the HTC Desire that are sure to satisfy, however, including flash support, social integration, and other fun features. While not perfect, this phone is definitely worth consideration.

The phone's appearance is definitely eye catching. While some may frown at its grey exterior, there is something sleek and futuristic about it, especially with its chrome accents. At 135g, it's nicely sturdy as well, for all it's quite slender. This is a phone that fits easily in the back pocket as well. Its true gem, however, is its 3.7 inch touchscreen.

Big, bright, and beautiful, it is perfect for watching HD movies on with ease. It's also nicely responsive as well, whether you're browsing the 'net or typing out an email. We do wish its screen didn't reflect the sun so keenly, though—using it out of doors can be something of a hassle sometimes because of this.

Its interface is lovely as well. Combine Android with HTC Sense and you have a phone that's an absolute breeze to use. Along with being user friendly and straightforward, the HTC Sense allows for fun little maneuvers, such as pinching the screen to zoom in. Smooth and attractive, this makes navigating the phone go without a hitch. Nokia X6 Mobile Phone Review

The Nokia X6 is a well made little music phone. However, unlike many feature phones, it doesn't sacrifice its other features in the name of boosting its music related goodies. While it's not perfect, it's nevertheless a reliable, thoughtfully designed device that is sure to please.

Available in white, blue or red, the phone has mediocre looks. While there isn't much that's downright unattractive about the phone, there's also something dull in its candy bar shape and simple, sharp corners. It doesn't help that it's not the most slender phone either.

While its not bulky enough to impede storage, it isn't a phone that will fit easily into your back pocket. Its 3.2 inch touchscreen is wonderfully responsive as well. Big, bright, and beautiful, it's great for watching movies on or browsing the web.

That aside, its Symbian S60 operating system is a bit dull and dated, but for those who dislike the overly complex nature of most smartphones, this might not be a bad thing. Alas, it's somewhat convoluted at times and is prone to inexplicable slowness. However, you do get a wealth of homescreens to sort your apps and widgets on.

Its music related features are quite good, including a 3.5 mm headphone jack, an FM radio, access to free music via its Comes With Music program. There aren't many phones out there that will offer you a year's worth of free downloads! Considering its memory storage, you'll have plenty of room for just that.

Nokia 6700 Slide Mobile Phone Review

The Nokia 6700 is an example of a decent little budget phone that doesn't cut too many essential features in the name of keeping the price low. It all depends on what you want in a phone. If well built, simple to use, and affordable are all traits you're yearning for, then this very well may be what you're looking for.

However, it lacks a few essentials that may disappoint some users. Small, trim, and attractive, the 6700 is a nice mix of practicality and style. Available in silver, pink, red, and other hues, you can customise to your heart's content. At 110g, it's not quite the typical flimsy pocket phone of some designers—while it's small and slender enough to fit in your back pocket, it's also sturdy enough to be able to take a few hard knocks.

Alas, its keypad was a bit of a disappointment. While it slides in and out smoothly enough, the buttons are a bit too small to truly be called finger friendly. Its 2.2 inch display is surprisingly vivid and clear and comes with an interesting feature—its sensor determines how bright the screen will be judging by how bright your surroundings are.

This is a lifesaver when it comes to saving on battery life. That aside, its Symbian OS 9.3 was a nice touch. While not the most up to date of operating systems, it nevertheless keeps the navigation running smoothly. Its array of menus was amazingly simple and straightforward too, with no convoluted twists or turns to worry about. We also found no signs of bugs, glitches, or freeze ups either.

Blackberry Pearl 3G Mobile Phone Review

One of the first things you'll notice about the Blackberry Pearl 3G is that it distinctly lacks the signature keyboard of most Blackberry phones. If you've ever looked at a Blackberry and wished it had a simpler keyboard without all of those crowded keys, this may very well be your answer. Here are a few other things to consider as you look for the perfect business phone.

There is more to the Pearl 3G than just its lack of a QWERTY. We liked it's appearance quite a bit. Available in simple black and weighing a slim 93g, it's the perfect mobile version of a little black dress that's perfect for all occasions. Its wavy alphanumeric keypad is something you'll either love or hate. Its
2.2 inch display is tiny, but vivid. Its trackpad is also nicely responsive and doesn't attract lint and grime the way a trackball does. Overall, a decided advantage is that it's very pocket friendly as well. There is more to it than its glamorous good looks, however. We would be remiss in not mentioning its amazing email capabilities.

As with any Blackberry, its email client is absolutely resplendent, with push email, sophisticated contact lists, social network integration, and more. Combine this with its 3G HSPDA, wi-fi, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, USB, and other connectivity options and you have a reliable little phone that is perfect for long business trips.

The perfect blend of work and play, it allows you to take advantage of its document viewer, stellar email, and reliable connectivity for connecting with clients and employees, and then once your work is done you can browse the web or watch a movie.

Budget conscious buyers will definitely note its steep price tag, but considering the materials the phone is made of, it's no surprise that it should be a bit pricier. Crafted with glossy plastic and a scratch resistant 3.5 inch touchscreen, this phone is definitely one of quality. At 135g, it's a bit heavier than many high end phones out there, but it's hardly a brick.

Sony Ericsson Zylo Mobile Phone Review - A Somewhat Dated Feature Packed Music Phone

That aside, quality features include TrackID, a built-in FM radio, a microphone, and access to the PlayNow music store. While the selection of songs available are quite diverse and appealing, we found ourselves frowning at the expensive price.

We did enjoy its interface, which features a mixtape, a turntable, and other interesting formats to play with. What about its other features? The Zylo offers dual band 3G, quad band technology, Bluetooth, HSDPA, and little else. We lamented the lack of wi-fi, but we feel it's mostly ignorable in light of so many other features.

We were also pleased to note the array of social networking goodies, including, a wealth of built-in apps that allow you access to sites such as Facebook, Flickr, Myspace, and more. Its keypad is relatively simple to use thanks to its large, solid buttons. Its browser also works reliably and fits the screen's size quite well, making for a seamless browsing experience overall.

With up to 16GB of external memory available on top of its internal memory, you should have more than enough room for storing your tunes, emails, texts, emails, and more. All in all, the Sony Ericsson Zylo is a decent music phone with a wide selection of features. Its bright screen, responsive keypad, and relatively reliable internet connectivity make it worth another look. However, the absence of a 3.5 mm headphone jack and wi-fi may be too disappointing for some.
