Apple iPad 2 Review

Following the overwhelmingly favourable response to the original iPad, we were expecting a lot from Apple’s latest offering, the iPad 2. Immediately we were impressed by the features, including the huge screen and 1,024 x 768 pixel resolution that were present on the original, however the iPad 2 has a lot more to offer.

It is a slimmer and lighter model, making it much more comfortable for carrying around and there are two versions to choose from: the 3G version at 613 g and the Wi-Fi-only version at 601 g. The aluminium case makes it feel sturdy and safe, so you’ll be much more inclined to take this one around with you for reading eBooks and browsing the web casually.

The case for the iPad 2 only covers the screen and is hinged, allowing it to fold into a stand when you’re typing or watching videos. Apple definitely had their thinking caps on with this one, as all of the awkward activities from the original iPad are now no longer an issue.

As the younger generation always tends to be, the iPad 2 is a lot faster than it’s parent, with a more powerful processor, a speedier browser and a more invigorating version of the iOS operating system. The 1GHz, dual core CPU makes it twice as fast at processor-heavy jobs, and nine times faster for dealing with graphics.

The Apple iPad 2 is a promising phone with good features that could compete with today's latest. Apple hasn't lost the mobilephone market yet and they also have lots of mobile phone deals that might change your mind when buying the phone you have in mind.
